City of Terrebonne — Welcome to Parc nature du Boisé

Parc nature du Boisé is now open to the people of Terrebonne! A vertical video to discover its 71 hectares of protected nature, its marked trails and its wildlife.

Ville de Terrebonne · 2026

About

After more than a decade of efforts by residents and elected officials, the City of Terrebonne acquired the former Le Boisé golf course to protect it from new residential development and turn it into a large nature park. Less than a year after the land was officially acquired, the park opened its trails to the public on July 15, 2026.

🌳 71 hectares of nature in the heart of the city, 75% of which will be protected

🥾 Safe, marked walking trails, to explore at whatever distance you choose

🦌 Deer, foxes, wild turkeys, groundhogs and a wide variety of birds to observe

The acquisition was made possible by $11,845,800 in financial support, shared equally by the Government of Québec and the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal (CMM), under the Greater Montréal Green and Blue Belt program.

This is only the beginning: more amenities will be added in future phases, guided by public consultation. Whether you come from Lachenaie, La Plaine, the west end or downtown, come and make this park your own. It belongs to you!
