Privacy policy

How Propulse-toi collects, uses and protects personal information on its website and in its tools.

Who we are

Propulse-toi is a video production and interactive experience studio based in Greater Montreal, Quebec. This policy covers the propulsetoi.ca website and the “YouTube Local Publisher” tool described below.

Information collected by the website

  • Contact form: your name, email and message and, if you provide them, your organization, subject and project details. This information is saved in the website’s database and emailed to us so we can answer your request.
  • Abuse protection: your IP address is kept for about 10 minutes to limit how often the form can be sent, then deleted automatically within 24 hours. The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is sending it.
  • Audience measurement: the home page uses Google Analytics to measure overall traffic.
  • Language preference: a cookie remembers your chosen language for one year.

Third-party services on the website

The website shows videos hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram or Facebook. When you play one of these videos, that platform may collect information under its own privacy policy. A booking link may also lead to a Google Forms form, governed by Google’s policy.

The website is hosted by Vercel, and its data is kept with hosting and database providers that may store it outside Quebec, including in the United States.

Use and retention

We use your information only to answer your request and follow up on our relationship. We do not sell, rent or share it for advertising. It is kept for as long as needed for these purposes, then deleted.

The “YouTube Local Publisher” tool

YouTube Local Publisher is a tool used only by Propulse-toi, from its own computer, to manage its own YouTube channel. It uses YouTube API Services. It is not offered to the public and does not access any other account.

  • Google data accessed: the identity and uploads playlist of the Propulse-toi channel, and its videos, captions and metadata.
  • Requested access: youtube.upload, youtube.readonly and youtube.force-ssl.
  • Use: uploading videos and adding their captions, thumbnails, language, playlists, visibility and scheduling. No other use.
  • Storage: the access token is stored in the Windows Credential Manager of Propulse-toi’s computer, and a publishing log is kept locally on that same computer. No data is stored on any Propulse-toi server.
  • Sharing: this data is never sold, shared or transferred to third parties. It is not used for advertising or to train artificial intelligence models.
  • The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
  • By using these services, you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
  • Revoking access: access can be removed at any time from https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to info@alexismorel.ca. We answer within a reasonable time.
